Zoe-perry

Perry is born July 25, 1968 in Chicago In Illinois, she was the child of Laurie Metcalf Perry and Jeff Perry. The role of Jackie Harris was played by her mom in both of the two episodes she appeared on Roseanne. Her parents did not allow her to start acting in front of her family until the age of adulthood because they were afraid of the strain it might cause. Perry claimed that she was nervous to be an actor in high school but began doing shows in the theater at Northwestern University as a way to meet new people after she transferred to the university from Boston University. Perry was a graduate of Boston University moved into New York in search of acting roles on television. Her small part was on TV shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent. But, her home-sickness drove her to California in search of theater jobs. The Other Place was performed by her mother and her in 2013 on Broadway in 2013. She appeared in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize winner Anna Christie, along with Kevin McKidd. This was staged at West Los Angeles' Odyssey Theatre Ensemble. Perry appeared in 9 episodes of ABC's thriller The Family during 2016. In 2017, she starred in her own recurring part on her own ABC Political thriller Scandal with her father. The same year, she played a young model of Mary Cooper on Young Sheldon (a CBS spinoff The Big Bang Theory), portraying her mother in a youthful version. The actress was chosen for the role despite having a close relationship with the character's family.
